Speaker Highlights for Fall 2017 CIO Forums

This fall season of CIO forums is going to be a great one. We have a lineup of speakers that is sure to please all of our attendees. If you are on the fence about signing up to attend a CIO forum, read on!

Starting off with the Pittsburgh show, the very first of the season, our opening keynote features Ken Spangler (CIO, FedEx Ground) and Dan Roberts (CEO, Oullette & Associates). They will be giving a rousing opening presentation on digital transformation and their experience with it so far. Ken Spangler is a highly-regarded executive, and Dan Roberts is an accomplished IT leader and author.

One of our other notable opening keynotes will be at our New Jersey forum, and is a can’t-miss session! We have Bill Schlough, SVP & CIO of the San Francisco Giants giving his presentation “Innovate to Win” – all about the Giants’ integration of technology that is behind recent successes, as well as how it will empower the team to improve after the 2017 season.

Another of our great opening keynotes will be in Minnesota, with Ross Bernstein, best-selling sports author and motivational speaker. He will be waking everyone up in the morning with a talk that relates lessons learned about integrity and accountability in the sports world to important issues in the business world. He will also focus on the core message that customers should do business with you because they trust and like you! If that sounds like something that you want to hear, be sure to sign up for the Minnesota forum now.

Our Portland forum will feature Steve Brown, AKA The Bald Futurist, who will be entertaining attendees on the evening of our kick-off dinner with his ideas and predictions for what the future holds.

In addition to all of our keynotes, there are plenty of general sessions and breakout sessions to inform and entertain throughout the day. These sessions will feature peers presenting their latest discoveries and insights. In between sessions, there will be plenty of time for networking with other CIOs and browsing the exciting lineup of technology and service providers. We even have some new shorter sessions to create a more rapid-fire experience and ensure that none of the sessions are lackluster!

Other notable speakers confirmed to speak are Kirk Kelly (AVP & CIO, Portland State University), Malcolm Postings (Global CTO, QuintilesIMS), Milos Topic (VP & CIO, Saint Peter’s University), Bill Zack (Cloud Architect, Coretek Services), Stuart Mulligan (CIO, Johnson & Johnson), and Summer Fowler (Technical Director, Carnegie Mellon University). We also have a variety of other topics including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, blockchain, big data, IT workforce, leadership, technology trends, and more!

If all of that sounds enticing, sign up for your region’s CIO forum today!
